I have a Collingwood gold key chain ring which was given to my husband by Dennis Banks. It was a proto type for the football club but was too expensive to manufacture so they did not go ahead with it. My husband and I had the Flinders Hotel for some years and Dennis came into the pub one day and noticed my husband was a Collingwood fan and football memorobilia collector, my husband brought some things from Dennis and he gave my husband this very nice looking key chain holder. Hi thanks so much for posting that information to us. This item sounds very interesting. It has significance because it is a prototype and it seems that Collingwood has long history. What year is it from?
Although I don’t think it would be hundreds of dollars, but I think that it has value. I would be interesting in putting it into our auction with the story with a Hundred dollar minimum. BidAmi Auctions does not charge any listing fee. Only upon sale would we take a percentage.
